Biker killed in A21 crash is named

KENT Police have released the identity of a young motorcyclist who died in a road traffic collision on the A21.

He was 23-year-old Marc Elton, of Penns Yard, Pembury, near Tunbridge Wells.

A post mortem was held on Tuesday. The coroner has opened an adjourned an inquest into Mr Elton's death.

Police are still appealing for witnesses to the crash which also involved two cars. The collision happened between Lamberhurst and Pembury on Sunday at about 10.15am.

The male driver of one of the cars was treated at the scene for minor injuries. The cars involved were a Honda Civic and a Mazda 626.

Part of the A21 was closed for around five hours while police crash investigators sought clues to the cause of the crash.
