A MAN died after his motorcycle was involved in a collision with a lorry in a Kent village.

The tragedy happened in Mills Road, Aylesford, near Maidstone. The victim, a man from Maidstone, was taken to hospital where he died from his injuries.

He has not yet been named. Police say the incident happened at about 1.50pm on Friday.

Members of Kent Police's serious collisions unit are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information is asked to contact them on 01622 600970. An inquest will be held.
