A 24-year-old man died after the motorcycle he was riding was involved in a collision with a van in the county.

The crash happened at Stick Hill, between Edenbridge and Cowden, near the junction with Hartfield Road, at about 3.35pm on Thursday.

The victim - a man from south west London - was on a red Honda motorcycle that collided with a white Ford Transit van.

He suffered serious injuries but died after being taken to hospital by air ambulance. He has yet to be named.

The road was closed at the junction with Heaver Lane and reopened at 8.20pm.
