The Bishop of Durham has been hotly tipped to take over as Archbishop of Canterbury.

Several national newspapers say the Right Reverend Justin Welby, who is 56, is going to replace Rowan Williams (pictured). An announcement is expected tomorrow.

The Eton-educated bishop worked in the oil industry for 11 years before leaving to train for the Anglican priesthood.
