A CENTENARY celebration at the Old Fire Station, Swanscombe, is set to be a blazing success.

To mark the 100th anniversary of the Old Fire Station building, now the Community Cafe, in Church Road, historian Christoph Bull, will give a talk called An Armchair Guide to Swanscombe, on Friday, June 13 at 7.30pm.

Entrance is free and refreshment will be on sale.
