Blonde and accomplices sought after attack

POLICE are appealing for information after a 22-year-old man was assaulted and robbed. One of the thugs was a blonde teenage girl.

The victim was walking home with a friend in Balmoral Road, Gillingham, when they were approached by the girl and two men.

The offenders asked if the victim had any cigarettes and when he said no, they began to argue.

The victim and his friend turned to walk away and then one of the offenders ran after the victim and began to punch him. The second man and the girl then dragged the victim to the floor and they began to punch and kick him. He suffered cuts, swelling and bruising to his face.

They then demanded his wallet and phone and searched his pockets. At this point, the first offender started to chase the victim’s friend.

The girl is described as being aged between 14-16, 5ft 4in tall, with blonde bleached hair. She was wearing large gold earrings, a black coat with black fluff around the hood, a black top and black trousers.

The first male offender is 16-17, 5ft 10in tall, of medium build with short light brown hair that was combed forward. He was wearing a white jacket, black tracksuit trousers and white trainers. The second male is also 16-17 and 5ft 8in with fair hair. He was wearing a beige top, dark trousers and trainers.

The incident occurred at about 11pm on Friday. Anyone who may have seen something or who may have information in connection with this incident is asked to contact Medway Police on 01634 884252 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
