Bluewater hosting guide dogs for the blind day

THE Guide Dogs for the Blind Association and Andrex are holding a family fun day in the Watercircus area at Bluewater at Greenhithe on Friday (October 28).

Visitors will be able to talk to local guide dog owners and trainers and learn how they can help turn more puppies into guide dogs.

Two special guests will be there - local man Peter Frawley and his guide dog and close friend Quincey.

Peter will speaking about Quincey, telling people about the difference he has made to his life.

Some of the volunteers who train guide dogs from puppies will also be there to answer questions. They will be accompanied by puppies who are currently in training.

There will be a special Andrex® Puppy bouncy castle, a face painter and a giant walking Andrex® Puppy who will entertain the children, each of whom will be given a gift from The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association to take home. The event starts at 10am.
