BMW driver sought after 3-vehicle crash

KENT Police are appealing for information following a serious road crash at the Lamberhurst roundabout on the A21.

A blue or black BMW, with a "W" prefix, was travelling north and pulled out to overtake another vehicle causing three vehicles travelling south to take avoiding action.

A police spokeswoman said: "A collision took place between the three vehicles travelling south which resulted in injury. A blue vehicle, with green headlight lenses, failed to stop as did the BMW."

The A21 was closed southbound from the Blue Boys roundabout to the Lamberhurst turnoff for over four hours.

The collision occurred at around 3.45pm on Wednesday. Anyone who witnessed it, or has any information that may help police with the investigation, is asked to contact officers at Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 01622 798538.
