Police have recovered two bodies from the water around Queenborough.

It follows a major search operation for two men missing at sea since Sunday.

Bernard Faulkner, 55, from Jubilee Crescent, Queenborough and 32-year-old Jamie Beecham from Coronation Crescent, Queenborough went missing at around 10pm after making their way out to a yacht in the harbour.

Police have not confirmed the identities of the two bodies.

Sheppey Coastguard, Sheerness lifeboat, and Kent Police were all helped in a search by the RAF search and rescue helicopter from Wattisham.
