A woman's body has been found on the beach at Broadstairs.

Police were called to Botany Bay at 12.50pm on Saturday after reports a body had been spotted there.

The woman was in her 60s and had earlier been reported missing by her family.

Police aren't treating the death as suspicious, but a post mortem examination will be carried out.
