HOMEOWNERS are being urged to remain vigilant after a bogus caller knocked on several doors in Webster Road, Rainham.

A youth aged between 14-15 years knocked on doors asking for payment for newspapers.

Fortunately, residents had the sense to ask for identification and the youth ran off.

He is described as white, with short spiked brown hair wearing a yellow and black shirt and blue jeans, approximately five feet four inches tall.
