Proclaimed by Bill Oddie no less as “the second best naturalist”, Chris Packham has led a life devoted to animals around the world.
Capturing wildlife both on film and as a photographer, his career has seen him front 75 series and 500 programmes for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Discovery and National Geographic.
He has followed wildlife in frozen wastes, desert and rainforests and tells their story at Canterbury’s Gulbenkian Theatre in his show Chris Packham, A Wild Life Exposed.
Informative, thought-provoking and inevitably controversial, this family show is studded with his trademark irreverent humour.
He is as award winning photographer, President of The Bat Conservation Trust, Vice President of the RSPB, Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, Butterfly Conservation and The Wildlife Trusts. So it is a fairly safe bet to say he knows what he is talking about.
Chris Packham will be at Cantebury's Gulbenkian Theatre on Saturday, April 9.
