Boy, 11, seriously injured after crash in Cliffe Woods

A boy aged 11 seriously injured in a car crash is now in a stable condition.

The pedestrian was struck by a Nissan Micra near a children’s play area in Cliffe Woods.

He was airlifted to a London hospital with serious injuries after the crash on the B2000 Town Road shortly before 6pm.

A Kent Police spokesman said on Friday afternoon he was no longer in a critical condition.

Police closed the road until just after 11pm to allow emergency services to deal with the incident.
