Boy, 13, in hospital after Twydall wall plunge

A teenage boy is in hospital after falling from 12ft in Medway.

The 13-year-old was believed to be on the roof of a shop in Twydall Lane, Twydall, when he fell at around 8pm yesterday.

Ambulance crews and police arrived on the scene shortly after.

A Kent Police said: "We were contacted by South East Coast Ambulance Service at 8.15pm following reports that a 13-year-old boy had fallen from a 12ft wall in Twydall Lane, Gillingham.

"He was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital."

The boy is believed to have since been moved to a London hospital for treatment. The seriousness of his injuries is unknown.

Police are not treating the incident as suspicious.
