Boy of 16 accused of stabbing

A TEENAGE boy charged with stabbing a man has been remanded in secure accommodation by magistrates.

The 16-year-old, from Ashford, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared before Ashford court. He is charged with causing Stuart Berry grievous bodily harm with intent last Friday night.

The magistrates refused a bail application and remanded him to secure accommodation until Tuesday, when he will appear before Folkestone Youth Court.
