Boy 'stable' after collision with car

A TEENAGE pedestrian suffered a head injury when he was involved in a collision with a car.

The boy, believed to be 14, was injured shortly before 3.20pm on Monday in Royal Parade, Chislehurst.

Paramedics were on the scene within eight minutes and treated him for head and shoulder injuries.

A spokesman for the London Ambulance Service said: "He was treated and stabilised at the scene, fully immobilised using a board and collar and taken on blue lights and sirens to Queen Mary’s Hospital, Sidcup."

The boy was said to be in a "stable condition" when he was taken to hospital.
