BRITISH Superbikes will once more open and close their championship at Brands Hatch.

The 13-round series returns to Kent for the season opener on the weekend of March 24 next year, while the championship finale takes place on October 8.

Gregorio Lavilla will be hoping to hold onto his crown, after winning the title during the final two rounds of this year’s series at Brands last month.

Kent motor racing fans will have added interest this season, as county rider Shane Byrne returns to the championship, which he won in 2003.
