A TEENAGE bricklayer has appeared in court after being charged by police with sexually assaulting a 25-year-old woman.

Ricky Newman, 19, of Pennine Way, Bexleyheath, allegedly attacked the woman in Hornfair Road, Charlton, on February 1.

He appeared at Woolwich Magistrates’ Court and was remanded in custody until a committal hearing at the same court on March 12.
