First it's snow, then it's torrential rain, and now it looks as though Kent is in for a mini heatwave.
After experiencing flurries of wintery weather at the beginning of the month, and downpours in the middle, April is set to go out on a summery high this weekend.
Weather forecasters are predicting some of the warmest weather the county has seen this year on Friday and Saturday – but warn that April showers may return on Sunday.
The Met Office confirmed that the outlook was good, and that people might want to brush off their barbecues while they can.
A spokesman said: "Kent is going to get some of the best weather in the country this weekend, with temperatures well above average.
"Friday should have plenty of sunny spells and temperatures should be 16 to 17C, and maybe more in the west of the county.
"Saturday will have the hottest weather, at around 18C to 19C, or maybe even 20C."
Sunday will bring more cloud and risks of showers, though temperatures will still be above average.
