A Kent beach hut has won a tide of support in its bid to be crowned one of the best in Britain.
Kim Chatwin scooped the title of best design in the South East for her hut Swiftsure at Broadstairs.
She was up against a total of 20,000 huts competing throughout the UK in the Beach Hut of the Year competition.
But her Viking Bay mini-home caught the judges' eyes with its turbo-charged appeal.
Chair of the judges, Kathryn Ferry, said: "Choosing our winners from all the fantastic entries has not been easy.
"It just goes to prove the dedication and care that Britain’s beach hut owners invest in their huts."
