Bromley’s FA Cup hopes are at an end following a 3-0 defeat at home to Chelmsford in a third qualifying round replay at Hayes Lane on Tuesday night.

Bill Bricknell gave the visitors the lead with a right-footed shot into the corner of the net after 19 minutes.

The second came three minutes into the second half when Mark Haines found Sam Higgins who drove the ball into the bottom corner.

Six minutes from the end Anthony Cook went on a fine run and scored an excellent solo goal for the third.
