Gadget freaks in Canterbury are more obsessed with their tech than anywhere else in the UK, a report out today reveals.
The study shows the city's tech-heads spend nearly £2,000 each year on the latest hi-tech toys and devices.
That is around double the average spend compared with the rest of the country, and easily beats runner-up Bath, with a spend of £1,586 per year.
The UK ranking - which listed the average spend per person in the UK as £994 - comes from a poll of 1,100 responses carried out by Explori.com on behalf of The Gadget Show Live.
According to Sally Bent, marketing manager for The Gadget Show Live our passion for gadgetry is, if anything, on the increase.
She said: "The figures don’t surprise me. The standard of must-have technology is increasing all the time, as is the amount of exciting products on offer."
