A CAR and a lorry have been involved in an accident on the Sheppey side of the Kingsferry Bridge this morning.

The call was made to the police at about 10.15am after it was reported that a red Vauxhall Corsa and a heavy goods vehicle had been involved in a collision.

One ambulance attended but police believe there are no serious injuries.

One lane was blocked while the emergency services cleared the road.
