A CAR caught fire following a motorway accident yesterday afternoon.

Police and firefighters were called to the scene of a crash between an MPV-style vehicle and a car on the M20 at around 3.45pm.

The collision took place on the coastbound carriageway between junction 4, at Leybourne, and junction 5, at Aylesford.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the car fire and nobody was seriously injured.
