Car driver held after biker dies in crash

A 30-year-old man died after his motorcycle was in collision with a car.

His yellow Triumph motorcycle and a blue Ford Mondeo collided at the junction of College Road and Ramsgate Road at Margate at about 9.20pm on Sunday. The victim died from his injuries at the scene.

Police arrested the 23-year-old driver of the Ford Mondeo. He was taken to Margate Police Station where he was assisting officers with their enquiries.
