TWO lanes of the M20 were closed for almost an hour this afternoon after a car and a lorry were involved in a collision.

The car involved, a Citroen Picasso, overturned as a result of the crash between junction seven (A249) and junction eight (Leeds Castle).

Police, who coned off lanes one and two while they dealt with the accident, says everyone involved managed to get out of their vehicles and nobody was hurt.

The lanes were closed just after 1.25pm and reopened at 2.10pm.
