Drivers should make sure their wing mirrors are folded when they park their vehicles on streets in Deal.

The suggestion comes from Kent Police following damage to cars in the Gilford Road, Blenheim Road and Mill Road areas.

A police spokesman said: “Anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously or knows the identity of the offender or offenders is asked to contact PC Andy Perham on 01304 240055.

“If you have any concerns about crime or anti-social behaviour in the middle Deal area contact your local neighbourhood policing officer PCSO Garry Faulkner.”
