A CAR transporter loaded with nine new Audi and VWs overturned at the new Cowstead Corner roundabout at Queenborough, near Sheerness, part of the A249 road improvements.

The driver of the Minster Motors owned lorry was unhurt in Tuesday's incident.

It was the second accident on the new roundabout. Earlier this month a farm trailer loaded with hay overturned. Two other accidents involving overturned lorries have happened at the nearby new Neats Court roundabout.

The Highways Agency says it will act if there is a trend of injury accidents and that statistics are evaluated annually.
