Two goals in each half saw Dartford record a comprehensive 4-0 victory at highly-fancied Carshalton in the Ryman League Premier Division on Saturday.
Lee Burns’ 11 goal of the season on 22 minutes broke the deadlock after he got on the end of a through ball and clipped the ball over the keeper and into the net.
The home side hit the post with one of their only chances of note, before Dartford got their second.
Ryan Hayes lined up as if he was going to deliver a free-kick into the box but, instead, played smart pass down the wing Jamie Day who ran through and scored after 36 minutes.
The third goal came after 55 minutes when a Hayes cross was met by Rob Haworth who got to the ball in front of a defender and slid it home.
Lee Noble’s corner was headed home by Jamie Coyle for the fourth after 85 minutes.
