THIEVES stole a bolted down cash machine from a Kent shopping centre in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Officers were called to the Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre at Gillingham just before 3.45am.

Police are searching for two vehicles - a 4X4 and a flatbed vehicle - they believe were used in the raid. Both are reported to have made off from the scene.

It is not yet known how much money was stolen.
