The weather was generally kind during this year's Rochester Castle Concerts and the
thousands of ticket holders had a great time.
Soul Party, featuring The Edwin Starr Band, The Soul Traders and Charlie Dimond amongst others kicked things off on Wednesday putting the crowd in a Motown party mood.
On Thursday it was Jools Holland's turn. Soft Cell singer Marc Almond and Ruby Turner were amongst the stars joining the singer/pianist on stage.
People had to think again about an early night in Rochester on Friday if the rehearsals for Status Quo's sell-out gig were anything to go by.
Things were relatively calmer at Saturday's grand finale as The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra brought a taste of the Proms to Rochester's Historic quarter.
They were joined on stage by soprano, Natasha Marsh and tenor, Nicky Spence.
The flags were waving and the crowd was treated to a huge Union Jack, draped down the side of the castle.
The fountain display was amazing and the fireworks rounded the night off.
