A catapult is thought to have been used in a spate of dangerous drive-by attacks on cars and homes.
Kent Police have received reports of as many as 15 almost identical strikes across Dartford, Gravesend and Sevenoaks.
Detectives believe ball-bearings and stones have been fired by someone using a catapult from a vehicle.
The first attack took place on September 30 in Hedge Place Road, Greenhithe - when a ball bearing hit a front door, causing a hole and damaging an internal door.
Then on October 13, a car window was smashed in Holmesdale Hill, in South Darenth.
Two days later, there was a spate of 13 attacks.
Among them involved a small object being catapulted at a van travelling in London Road, Greenhithe, damaging the passenger window. A similar attack was also reported in Shoreham Road, Sevenoaks.
Kent Police are investigating reports of suspect vehicles in the areas at the time of the attacks - a silver VW Golf and a black VW Passat.
