TWO cars were extremely badly damaged when they were set on fire in a Kent town.

Police have now released a CCTV image showing two people running away from the incident in Imperial Drive, Warden, Sheerness in the hope it will jog the memory of witnesses.

A red convertible Fiat Punto, valued at £5,000 and a red Fiat Cinquento worth £1,600 were the cars targeted.

The attacks took place between 12.30am and 12.45am on Wednesday, June 21.
