TWO brothers have appeared in court at the Old Bailey accused of murdering a man outside a popular night spot.
Oliver O'Bryan, 23, and Christopher O'Bryan, 25, allegedly attacked 25-year-old Paul Baker, from Sidcup, near the Lounge Bar, Chislehurst, near Bromley, in May.
They did not enter pleas at the Old Bailey because prosecutors had failed to forward CCTV evidence to their defence lawyers.
Judge Christopher Moss, QC, criticised the Crown Prosecution Service for the delay.
He said: "I've never heard such nonsense. I don't think it's rocket science, is it, to copy some tapes and forward them to the defence?"
Mr Baker died at Queen Mary's Hospital, Sidcup, a day after the alleged incident.
Floral tributes still mark the scene where he was fatally injured.
His family were in court as both defendants, of Bromley Grove, Bromley, were remanded in custody until a plea and case management hearing in October.
* Two other men who were arrested in connection with the investigation are on police bail until Wednesday, August 29, pending further enquiries.
