A chainsaw gang tied up staff in a terrifying raid on an office, police revealed today.
Detectives in West Kent are now hunting the masked thieves who made off with a stack of computers.
The incident happened in Vestry Road, Sevenoaks on Tuesday, March 1 at 8.05pm.
Four men, dressed in black and wearing balaclavas and gloves, stormed into the building.
One of them was carrying a chainsaw.
Two members of staff who were still working had their wrists and ankles tied, and the men then took their Apple Mac computers.
One of the staff members managed to free his hands and call police after the men had gone, at 9.10pm.
No-one was injured during the incident.
Detectives are linking thit to an aggravated burglary at an architect's practice in Westerham on January 6.
Det Con Adrian Grew said: "CCTV footage will form part of our investigations but we would also like to hear from anyone who was in Vestry Road and saw anything suspicious between 7.30pm and 9.10pm.
"I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who saw a new looking Ford Transit Connect van with a high roof and a silver BMW 3 Series in the area at that time, or travelling further afield before or after the incident."
