Charlton extended their unbeaten run to seven games despite twice letting a lead slip against Brighton at The Valley.
The Addicks went in front on nine minutes when Lawrie Wilson met Dale Stephens’ cross with a glancing header.
However, Brighton drew level on 26 minutes through Craig Mackail-Smith after Charlton’s Michael Morrison had failed to clear his lines.
Bradley Pritchard (pictured) converted Johnnie Jackson’s cross to put the hosts in front 20 minutes from time but Kazenga LuaLua came off the bench to rescue a point for the Seagulls five minutes later.
Charlton are now four points outside the Championship play-off spots.
