New-look Charlton claimed a comfortable opening day win over Bournemouth in League 1 on Saturday.
One of six debutants, Dale Stephens, put the Addicks ahead and second-half goals from Scott Wagstaff and Johnnie Jackson sealed the victory.
Michael Morrison and Bradley Wright-Phillips both headed over early on before Stephens converted Wright-Phillips' cross midway through the first half to put Charlton ahead.
The second half came to life when Wagstaff (pictured) volleyed home from the edge of the area after Jackson's corner was only half-cleared.
Debutant Paul Hayes was set up by Stephens but shot wide before Charlton added a third with 12 minutes left. Wright-Phillips was fouled in the area by Barrett and Jackson slotted home to wrap up an excellent opening day for Chris Powell's men.
