The new crime-mapping section on www.kent.police.uk means people all over the county will immediately be able to access crime figures for various offences from robbery, down to ward level.

The website provides interactive maps and drop down menus so accessing the information is simple and efficient.

The launch follows the example of the Met. All UK forces are set to follow on their websites.

In Kent, the information will be updated monthly to ensure the most recent data can be found by people using the website.
