Chevrolet has revealed more details about its forthcoming new compact SUV, the Trax.
Due to hit the nation's roads in the spring, the car will be available with a choice of two trim levels and three engines. Already confirmed for the UK are a pair of petrol motors (1.4, 1.6) and a 1.7-litre diesel motor.
Chevrolet is promising a family-friendly cabin design for the Trax, with the car boasting plenty of storage options, flexible rear seating plus a fold flat option that boosts the car's overall carrying capacity to 1,370 litres.
In the UK Trax will be available in two trim levels: LS and LT. The LS trim level features 16-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, remote central locking, rear parking sensors, front fog lights and auto headlights together with Bluetooth compatibility.
The LT trim level adds 18-inch alloy wheels, a rear parking camera, light-sensitive rear view mirror and leather steering wheel and gearknob, as well as Chevrolet's infotainment Mylink system as standard.
Chevrolet has yet to announce pricing information, but buyers can expect the car to start from around £15,000 when competing head-on with Vauxhall's sister car, the Mokka.
