Mike Fuller, the Chief Constable of Kent, is visiting Thanet this afternoon.
He will meet with colleagues and staff at Margate police station before taking a tour of the Cliftonville area.
He will see how community policing and neighbourhood safety initiatives are working in one of the most deprived parts of the county.
