An 11-year-old was injured in a suspected stabbing by another child at Allhallows Leisure Park.
The 11-year-old, thought to be a boy, was taken to hospital following an incident at the caravan park on the Hoo Peninsula yesterday afternoon.
However, a police spokesman said the injuries were not thought to be serious.
Paramedics were already on the scene when police arrived at 4.30pm.
A police spokesman said the individuals involved were known to each other. No arrests have been made.
A major search unfolded an hour later after a nine-year-old boy with learning difficulties went missing from the caravan site.
The two incidents are understood to have been connected.
Lifeboat and coastguard crews and the RAF rescue helicopter (pictured) were scrambled to the holiday park just after 5.45pm.
Sheerness RNLI inshore lifeboat, Medway Coastguard and the 125 search and rescue helicopter from RAF Wattisham, Suffolk, all searched for the nine-year-old boy.
He was found safe and well after Sheerness RNLI, called at 6.04pm, had searched the coastline for 10 minutes.
Bexleyheath Social Services are now dealing with the matter.
