Temperatures across the county are expected to rise leading to hopes it may bring an end to a prolonged spell of chilly conditions.
The Met Office says warmer weather is on the cards for residents across Kent later this week.
It comes as temperatures are forecast to rise each day ahead of the weekend.
Despite another cold start today, with many parts of the county struck with another overnight frost, a slight increase of up to 5C is expected tomorrow.
Temperatures will then rise to about 8C on Wednesday before increasing to highs of 11C on Thursday.
The mercury is set to rise slightly further on Friday with the county predicted to welcome temperatures of up to 14C.
It comes less than a fortnight after a yellow cold health warning was issued for Kent on February 7.
The Met Office has described conditions over the past week as that of “anticyclonic gloom”, due to dull skies and some areas of the country having not seen the sun in more than a week.
The predicted temperatures of 13C and 14C are also well above February’s average, with 9C the usual figure in southern England.
Met Office meteorologist Jonathan Vautrey says the warmer conditions will be a “noticeable shift” after the last fortnight which was also below average.
