The Citizens Advice Bureau in West Malling is to close at the end of the financial year.
Mike Rowe, chairman of Malling CAB said the decision was taken in the light of Tonbridge and Malling council's funding difficulties "and the likely future method of service delivery intended by Citizens Advice (the national body)."
He added: "The Board of Trustees took the decision to close very reluctantly and with a great deal of sadness. The Malling CAB has been serving the local community since 1976 when it first opened at The Clout Memorial Institute. Over the years the bureau has assisted thousands of people, many of whom have been in dire situations with complex social and financial problems."
