Free Greggs sausage rolls will be up for grabs for every goal scored on UK soil during the Euros - which kick off tonight.
Official sponsors of the football tournament Just Eat will be offering free treats to Greggs customers for every game at either Wembley Stadium or Hampden Park where the ball makes it into the back of the net.
As excitement builds around the long-awaited tournament - which had to be postponed last year because of the coronavirus pandemic - the eateries say they intend to bring football and food together with their quirky Rolls for Goals offer.
Customers ordering from the bakery will be able to claim free sausage rolls for every Euro2020 match played on UK soil where the score goes above 0-0, regardless of which nations are playing.
The promotion therefore begins after Sunday's clash between England and Croatia, which is the first Euro2020 game to be played at Wembley, as well as the team's next match on Friday, June 18 against Scotland. The Rolls for Goals deal runs right up until the final on July 11 taking place in London.
Fans can get their hands on their free sausage rolls, either the meat or vegan option, the day after the match, on all Greggs orders over £5 placed through Just Eat. This is regardless of which team scores the goal.
Matt Bushby, Just Eat UK marketing director said: “Food is a massive part of football culture and after a year like no other, what better way to to deliver joy than by rewarding customers with free Greggs sausage rolls for every match in which a goal is scored.”
