Coach topples over on M20

by Thom Morris

Fire crews were called out to the M20 today after a coach toppled over.

It happened at about 5am on the coast-bound stretch between junction 10 and 11.

A car and a lorry were also involved in the collision.

Firefighters from Ashford and Folkestone were initially called to help rescue the two drivers on board the coach.

Fortunately they were not trapped and did not suffer any injuries. There were no passengers aboard.

Police and ambulance were also in attendance.

The section of the road remains closed with a diversion in place with traffic rejoining the M20 at junction 11.
