A HEADTEACHER is calling time on his career after 19 years in charge.
Robert Dilleywill bow out from the Coopers Technology College this week after joining the school back in 1989.
Mr Dilley received gifts from his pupils in his last assembly this morning and will preside over a special presentation ceremony at the school on Hawkwood Lane later this evening.
In his time at the school nearly 2,000 of his pupils have gone onto achieve degrees at university.
Coopers Technology College’s Jane Pannett said: “Everyone at Coopers would like to applaud Robert Dilley’s sterling work and unstinting loyalty over his years of service to the students, staff and local community.
“We wish him a long, happy and healthy retirement and want him to know he will be greatly missed by all he served.”
