Coma victim Richard Plummer ready to walk down aisle after Indonesia horror crash

Miracle crash survivor Richard Plummer is to marry his girlfriend Indri next week.

The 32-year-old was flown home to Maidstone in an international rescue operation last summer - having been left for dead by a roadside in Indonesia after a motorbike crash.

Left in a coma with severe head injuries, there were fears that Richard would never walk again.

But he fought back from the brink and will now walk down the aisle at Holy Trinity Church in Coxheath on Saturday, October 20.

The Maidstone man had been living in Bali at the time of but crashed while uninsured - sparking a campaign to raise £80,000 for his flight home.

In February, his girlfriend Indria Arina, who is from Indonesia, gave birth to a baby girl.

The couple named her Tiana after the Australian woman who found Richard following the crash and called his parents and girlfriend.
