Kent's police and crime commissioner has come under fire again - after a controversial remark she made in connection with a court case.
A member of the Kent Police and Crime Panel hit out at atweet by gaffe-prone Ann Barnes, who appeared to comment ona high-profile case.
The member described the comment as "inappropriate'.
The tweet has been 'favourited' by the Kent Police Federation.
But it is not the first time the police and crime commissioner has been criticised.
Following a Channel 4 documentary 'Meet the Commissioner', she was widely panned after she couldn't remember her job title, brought her dog into work and painted her fingernails during the show.
The first youth commissioner she appointed was forced to resign after making controversial Twitter remarks.
Her second appointee to the post was removed from normal duties amid allegations of a close relationship with a married man.
More recently, the Independent Police Complaints Commission has announced it is investigating Mrs Barnes over whether she was insured to drive her Mercedes when she crashed it in Dartford.
Cllr Rupert Turpin, a Conservative member of the Kent and Medway Crime Panel, said about the latest comment:
"I do think it is a little inappropriate. You would not expect the chief constable or a judge to be saying this sort of thing.
"I think she should just get her head down and concentrate on the job."
A spokesman for Ann Barnes' office said they weren't releasing a statement at this time.
