Jen Wilson scored twice as South Africa's women kicked-off their Commonwealth Games hockey campaign with a convincing win.

The Canterbury star was on target as the South Africans overcame Trinidad & Tobago 12-0 in Delhi on Monday afternooon to set the early pace in Group A.

Wilson's Canterbury teammate of last season Cath Taylor added a second-half strike as her side ran riot.

Next up for South Africa is Tuesday's clash against Scotland.
