Nat Seymour helped England's women secure bronze in the Commonwealth Games hockey competition in Delhi on Wednesday morning.

The Canterbury defender (pictured) was in the side as England - coached by former Canterbury boss Danny Kerry - secured a win over South Africa through a solitary first-half goal.

The win meant disappointment for her Canterbury teammate Jen Wilson who was in the South African side alongside former Canterbury player Cath Taylor.

Seymour also claimed bronze at the World Cup in Argentina last month but missed out on a place in today's gold medal match when England were beaten 1-0 by Australia on Monday.
